Sorry, have to correct myself... you _can't_ actually use sudo rm
/var/run/sudo/yourusername/*, because the shell will fail to interpret
the wildcard and will tell you that the file or directory doesn't exist.
So, you have to remove the timestamp files individually, giving their
proper names, or
Hu... no, not a repeat of bug 66637.
For the Vaio, the fix from bug 66637 works fine and the Vaio works and
hibernates fine (but there is an issue with graphics at boot time and in
a transparent panel -- new problem in Edgy).
For the AJP 3000M the fix solves the problem with swap, that now
AlexExtreme it's a splashy bug I think

Hi, now I've got Ubuntu 6.10 with Gnome 2.16.1 and KDE 3.5.3 , and still having
the same problem.
The problem begins when I see a dialog in Gnome telling me that the
configuration of the Keyboard (with Gnome) doesn't match with the Xkb settings;

I've added a script that can tell me as much information about my
battery as the gnome app. It's a bit messy, yes, but I commented it so I
think most can understand it. The only thing that would have to be
calibrated is the maximum charge for the battery, but the gnome applet
could watch to see

Why not just make /usr/share/X11/fonts/ a symlink to
/usr/share/fonts/X11/?
It would make it simpler so that all fonts would end up in the big
fonts directory.

Selecting Message/Apply Filter/(filter) causes Kmail to display the next
message (or if at the last message of a folder, the previous message).
Of course, I mean a filter which doesn't move a message to another
folder, and the filter must be set

To resume from a hibernated image, the /etc/initramfs-
tools/conf.d/resume file has to be filled with the information of the
swap device also (which is a separate problem on a dapper-edgy upgrade)
as mentioned in 66637. Please try it also and let us know whether it
works.

Unsubscribing Backporters from this bug. There is no newer version in
Feisty, especially not the version the original filer is asking for.
Please resubscribe when Feisty gets a newer upsream release of
logrotate.

When launching Compiz, having set my window movement key to Super in the
Windows applet, instead of Alt, Compiz uses Alt.
On starting compiz automatically replaces
/apps/compiz/plugins/move/allscreens/initiate_button with AltButton1.
If I set it to Superbutton1, it resets it
I've had the same problem. 80 GB disk (NTFS partition #1) resized to 50
GB, made one ext3 partition and one swap. NTFS partition became black
and couldn't mount. But... only Ubuntu worked :) - GRUB booted ubuntu
from second partition. Windows were dead.
