If I click with the mouse (not the pen) on the xournal window while the
drawing area is smaller than the window, then it blocks and starts

As far as I can see it there is some problem with graphic card drivers
because now I dont have Linux proprietary drivers. IN the list is ATI
catalyst control center and it does not allow to pump up the graphics, I can
not set it on HIgh, it remains on basic.

I have a similar problem since upgrading my Dell inspiron 1525.
To complete suggestion click applicationsaccessoriesterminal , type lspci -vv
into terminal screen and cut paste results to reply, then repeat for dmesg.

Oh, and I cancelled that stupid command halfway through, so I have no
idea if whatever is not working now is connected to this. I was in doubt
wether to even respond to this since my system is in a weird state right

The package asterisk-classic is no longer part of 8.04, and on hardy,
/etc/init.d/asterisk logger-reload produces no output at all. So I
assume it is fixed at least since hardy.

This has happened to me on Asus M50vm-b1 laptop. Live-cd boots fine but
when I try to run install it hangs. I downloaded the alternate-install
64-bit and it gives me the no commone cd-rom drive was detected . Is

Thank you for looking into it. Another thing that is really weird is
that if you click cancel on the safe graphics mode selection, the X
server starts fine normally with the full refresh rate and glxgears. It
appears to me that something is taking too long to respond.

To allow NetworkManager to use Nokia phones as 3G devices they need IDs
added to /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-modem.fdi . So
far my Nokia (N95-2) wasn't added. The ID for this one is 0x070 and I've
confirmed this
I don't know for real, but we do develop on python2.4, so I got plenty
of python2.4 stuff on my machine.
I removed python-setuptools, installed python-setuptools and after that

Today (2008-10-18 ~ 9:00 GTM+2) I got an:
HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway
when uploading a large crash (15 mb.. or was it 151 mb? see #92653).
I am not behind proxy or anything strange.
It is possible that package (xorg) was already out of date (see #122818)

Same here, plus after using Quick Search, normal search gets messed up
too.
For instance, I do quick search for 'skype' [medibuntu], no results. Normal
search yields no results either after this.
If I start with normal search, it's fine. (Maybe the second part of this is
caused that search
Changing from invalid to fix released, since it was (and still is) a
valid bug on Hardy that has been fixed for Intrepid. Any plans to fix
this for prior versions?
