I set the minimal length for a mis typed command to two now. The problem

I've just tried suspend in Windows Vista on the same laptop (as the

- Suspend is a bit slow, but works.
- Resume is quite fast, about 2 seconds from button press to a Windows

1) Standard Karmic
2) My working config attached above
3) My xorg.conf with Intel driver
Only 2 presents a working gdm session; for 1 3 I had to fallback on the

I upgraded my 2 Ubuntu systems to KDE 4:4.2.95-0ubuntu1~jaunty1~ppa1.
This problem reappeared on one of those systems (but not both). It

I still have this problem on jaunty
I'm using gnome-screensaver and the issue occurs with the solarwinds
screensaver (that's not to say it doesn't occur with other specific
screensavers). The screensaver freezes and prevents any interaction - so
it's impossible to login.

Confirmed -extension GLX work around.
I use a VPS running ubuntu server 8.10. I have already installed xorg,
not sure if this is required for the workaround to work.
I tried out connecting several times and found the work around to
function perfectly.
