switch user I went into test and was able to login without a password.

No, this doesn't seem to be the problem.
Here with me, the locale - setting is changed so Monday should be the
start of week, and in the gnome-panel clock applet it works as it should
and shows Monday as the start. But in gnome-do, the calendar shows after
a restart and everything still sunday...

What guest operating system are you running when you choose shutdown?
Is this guest operating system completely started or in a state of
startup/shutdown?
Does this guest operating system have ACPI support?
Does 'force off' from the virt-manager shutdown Window work for you?

See the big lintian warning about the translations being incomplete,
that is the only thing (that I know of) that is blocking this update.
If this package were in Debian I would know how to get the translations
updated however this package is not in debian s. I am still

After walking away last night angry and disgusted about the state of
vnc4 support in Ubuntu, it occurred to me that I could the regular
Debian version of the package.
