Another issue is that indicator-session uses the old policykit API. It
needs to be ported to polkit-1.
If this is just a PK client for services provided by gdm, then the only
thing to do is to rip out all the PK code entirely. If i-s itself
provides PK-protected services, it needs to be ported.
On jaunty 9.04, i386 I experience the same bug. Sometimes, when logging
out the remote shell, ssh freezes locally after saying logout. In

I can also confirm this. Worked fine under intrepid in my 29 computers
lab, now doesn't work anymore after upgrading to Jaunty. :-(

Binary package hint: nvidia-common
I run the development version of Karmic on my 64 bit machine.
First thing this morning, my machine was running with nvidia accelerated
graphics.
Later today I updated with apt-get update ; apt-get dist-upgrade.
The upgrade appeared to go

Same here, Karmic stops shuting down at asking all remaing tasks to
terminate. Latest updates from Today with the 31-7 Kernel.

init script should not run for runlevels 0 and 6 (shutdown/reboot), no
need to rmmod the kvm module. Also, I don't generally feel well about
rmmod in the first place, it just causes kernel panics or hangs way too
often. Is this really needed?
