am seeing this bug on a clean Karmic install.
it's as if the file chooser dialogue is inactive in some way... if you
click one of the buttons (a radio button, or check box), e.g. all files
or selected files (even if it's the same one as is already selected,
when you click extract it works fine.
btw, a colleague with a similarly clean Karmic install, gets exactly what you'd
expect... extract then extract performs the extraction.

Looks like the culprit is gnome-screensaver-command which is set as
proximity command in blueproximity. When I run that command in a loop
(without running blueproximity) I get the same behavior that the menu in
OO opens and closes every 5 seconds.

open source driver (not that the ATI one is better). With the same
distribution copied on a thinkpad W500 and using the intel chip instead

Flashing with flash.bat worked for me. Now I have 5 bright levels when
using Fn+F5 or Fn+F6: brightness changes two steps with each key press.
I mostly followed the steps in #265 but used my SystemrescueCD to boot
freedos. You can have SystemrescueCD together with a standard Ubuntu
install image
As I can see the current package in Lucid is still based on portaudio so I
believe it still works in Kubuntu and is still broken in Ubuntu.
Fedora has also decided to enable pulseaudio support by default:

I can not reproduce it. I guess could be something from an old config
file in /etc/ ore something. If you give me the /etc/tudurc and
~/.tudurc I'll see if I can reproduce it.
tudu works fine in ubuntu 9.10 just after installed.

There is a simple reason for this - gsoko is designed for embedded
devices like iPAQs that have direction buttons but not a full keyboard -
therefore there would be no 'U' key and hence no shortcut.

Looks sane, if SRU team doesn't mind that it fixes a lot more issues than just
the two reported bugs:
- libkrb5-dev depends on libkrb5client6 (LP: #472080)
- Avoid locking out accounts on PREAUTH_FAILED, Closes: #557979 (LP: #489418)
- 6506: correctly handle keytab vs stash file
- 6508: kadmind

part...desktop is the nerd natural habit...U can't mess with
