source-folder disappeared and never showed up in the destination folder.

With gconf-editor (or your prefered tool) look for /apps/gnome-
terminal/profiles/Default/cursor_blink_mode and set the value to off.
The cursor doesn't blink but also doesn't show the outline.

I've noticed something else that may help figuring this one out:
Using CompizConfig Settings Manager I disabled Window Decoration under
the Effects section. With window decoration turned off I can use the alt
key to click and move windows around. The windows wobble as expected and
they move
I ran into this one as well with oneiric live cd (i386) on my old
desktop running nvidia gf fx5600.
The live cd installer loads and looks ok but after chosing to test
ubuntu from cd instead, unity loads and everything goes haywire. Only
the top right indicators, window title on the top left and
Docked dialogs in floating window are remembered as open.
Tested on Windows XP and Ubuntu 11.04 (rev. 10804), and unfortunately leads to
a crash.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open two dialogs (tested with Fill and Stroke and Layers) give them a
floating status.

The only answers you'll get will be either whine at
your distro's mainteiners and make them update alsa-plugins to the latest git
(and it still won't solve this problem) ...
Fire up bugs please in case you've got problem after compiling and
installing latest
