In System Settings -- Login screen (Light DM) -- Theme I've selected both an
image file for the Background image and for the Welcome Image.
The image thumbnails are displayed in the same setting page. I've then clicked
on apply and have provided the needed authorization.
worryingly this means we cant release the netboot ppc
except that it's not a problem for everyone, myself included.

powerpc: Fixing
I installed the last driver version (http://www.dahetral.com/public-
download/psmouse-alps-dst-1.0.tbz/view) on a Dell Inspirion 14R (5420)
and finally I have my touchpad working fine and with the two fingers
scrolling enabled (the feature that I was missing the most).

Are you sure that ubuntu-bug actually crashes?
I rather think that you might be confused because it does not open a
browser window anymore, but instead silently sends the report in the
background.
There is a report for this already (with duplicates), but I could not
find it now.
