`vga=791` as a kernel parameter to get 1024x768 at the virtual terminals.
This worked fine with Dapper but it breaks the splash screen in Edgy. The

I switched to Edgy and use exactly the same xorg.cong file as in Dapper.
The problem is that after a startup or an hibernate, it seems that
xorg.conf is ignored. The touchpad works, but not at the right speed and

howto in the Ubuntu Wiki), and to my surprise it just worked ! So I am not

disabling acpi has no effect, and this bug is still present in the final
release version of edgy there are a lot of reports of people having this

We can start working on this now. I have uploaded the OpenOffice icon
folder along with this post. All we have to to is replace the icons.
I've started a few already. Most of the replaceable icons are in the
"res" folder. Don't replace the "High Contrast" icons.

When you create an Application Launcher on gnome-panel and then move it
twice ( a simple click and drag, even for 1 pixel will suffice), on the

Hi.
Today I just downloaded this new Ubuntu release for my computer, a
Quicksilver G4 933 Mhz with 2MB L3 cache.
MD5sum for the cd image is correct.
I burned it with two different applications, in two different disks
(obviously) and in both cases, when booting up (splash sc
+1 for this bug being in Edgy Final. The fix works.

adept is certainly installed and can be run from the menu.
