In Debian Lenny it just happens the first time you reposition both
panels on bottom (this always happened to me with past versions of
Gnome). Nevertheless, if you delete the panel you desire to be on top,
create a new identical one, and reposition them as you want, this
preference is preserv

Running Gigabyte GA-81EXP with 2 channels of onboard IDE and channels
of Promise IDE has this same problem. Up until last night I was running
7.10 and the controllers booted up randomly. If they came up backwards I

Bug confirmed. Same error in syslog, and the system was unbootable.
I hadn't that problem with gutsy, nor feisty (Installed in the same
month in the same HDD). I checked the HDD pins but they were ok. I just
changed the IDE cable and everything worked fine.

I like the changes that have been made to samba; it really is point-and-
click to share things now. The only problem I have experienced with it
is this bug, which can be solved easily by a user logging out and in
again. While it would be great to see a fix, it's hardly a reason to
revert back to Gu

That happens for me, too. I have narrowed it down to the Animations
plugin. In a console I get this error:
The program 'thunderbird-bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.

I am also having the same/similar issue. I have an Edimax EW-7128G PCI
wireless card in my machine. When I am not using it, the system doesn't
freeze. If I use it, randomly when accessing the Internet, or
especially when downloading large files, the system will completely
freeze and the Caps loc

When importing photos from my manually maintained, folder-based photo
collection -- clicking "Import" and unchecking the "Copy to 'Photos' folder"
option (which should remember its last check state) -- pic
