FWIW, this bug was stopping the webbrowser from being able to export a
PDF to the printing 'app'.
This was due to content-hub using libapparmor to check if the app was

Last browser tab not fully displayed at app startup despite being

1) Install Ubuntu 17.04 GNOME
2) Ensure you are running a wayland session
3) Install qtcreator
4) Launch qtcreator
5) Try to do File -> Open File or Project
6) Notice that the application crashes
What I expected to happen:
At step 6 for a file dialog to appear
I tried the packages from zesty-proposed with the version 5.7.1+dfsg-
2ubuntu4~1.17.04.1 and this allowed me to open the filechooser under
QtCreator without crashing :-)
I then flipped back to the packages in the archive (5.7.1+dfsg-
2ubuntu4~1) and was able to confirm it was crashing again.
So
This has been seen on Ubuntu GNOME 17.04, under both Wayland and X11. It
appears to happen randomly after some time, sometimes a reboot can
resolve the issue, sometimes not.
Running the following command as a workaround resolves the issue:
$ sudo kbd_mode -s
FWIW, I was running on a system with

Our current suspicions are that there were network issues with mono-
project.org or gnome.org (for the SDK) when you first tried to install,
I have run the test plan on a Bionic VM, which passed all relevant tests
successfully - I have noted the version of flatpak used below. Therefore
I am marking this as verification-done-bionic.

flatpak but then you mention using "mount" to check if they are visible.

On Ubuntu 18.04 daily with flatpak 0.11.3, gnome-software-plugin-flatpak
3.28.0 I have not been able to reproduce this issue. I did have a
separate issue, which looks like a bug in cleanups between versions of
gnome-software as removing all apps, remotes and caches resolved the
issue - I have

What happened
1) Open your browser, navigate to flathub.org, find an app and click to install
it
2) Open the resulting flatpakref in gnome-software.
3) Notice how the app info is correctly displayed
4) Try to click install, notice how now you get "cannot install source from
I've not yet been able to reproduce this yet, but while investigating
I've found that the cache folder for gnome-software (and therefore the
gnome software flatpak plugin) has changed from 17.10 to 18.04 - so it
might not be an issue for "real" users upgrading from 17.10?
