LibreOffice writer gets locked up on trivial operation

Open a document, Format-Page-Paper format, select different paper format than
you have at the moment
Now press Apply three times. And The LibreOffice gets locked up completely.
BTW, note that after first Apply the window changes it's place. Not sure
whether this warrants
The bug have not disappeared after upgrade of liboreoffice-writer to
version 3.4.4 (amd64).
This is under window manager fvwm, could be it is related?

The problem is reminiscent of the bug #797226 (where the /dev/dm-* nodes
are not created).
The attached script recreates the /dev/dm-* nodes both for this and the
other bug.

@Michael Basse; I'm quite optimistic about your (re)solution with the
rt2860.bin modifier (#97). Used for about 15 hours now and NO panic whatsoever.
Also some strange sideeffects on my LAN are vanished. Will keep testing for
now...

Found some interesting relation between this issue and the upgrade Natty to
Oneric. The panic only occurs on my Asus EeePC 1000H when Evolution is running.
When a fresh install is used the Evolution product is replaced by Thunderbird,
which is not installed / has been removed. No panic on the

It even worse than that: If I create snapshot and it is has LV status
NOT available - the status affects the primary partition of the
snapshot, which also becomes NOT available.

Sometimes, status of the new LV becomes NOT available after mkfs.ext3:

Until this is fixed, I wrote a shell script that looks in the
/dev/mapper directory and recreates nodes that the udev missed.
