Well, when the error pops out the system has freshly started, but the network
connection is ok at that time, at least it seems so. I will try to find if the
error comes out on temporary network failure, or some timeout on startup
procedure. I haven't found trace on system registry.

Gee, this bug is slimy... Same configuration for me, and same problem since
Hardy. Video Streaming (Youtube also, right?) ease the flickering and the crash.
Ubuntu is really fine for the Intel Mac Mini, albeit this bug.

Same for me. It seems not properly a full screen window in F11 style, but
clicking F11 twice restore the window. Perhaps have you Compiz enabled, like
me?
On an Asus eeepc 901 with Ubuntu Hardy Installed I have the same behaviour on
every window, but reloading Compiz solve the problem.

The touchscreen don't stop working, but it waits for a multi-touch

Still not fixed and still *very* irritating.
I keep closing the wrong window because of this bug, as the buttons are
misplaced and the window underneath get closed.
I think that's incredible that such an evident and nasty bug is still there
after many updates.

related to unity itself.
You can notice very well if you have the window close/minimize buttons on the

I have the same problem. I confirm the freezing and the error -108. But
isn't modemanager, is a bug of kernel next to 2.6.35-32-generic. In my
12.04 system, i solved installing the kernel version cited above. But i
think that is work also with the next version to 13.04.

As of 91.7.0esr the issue is still there. Focussing the address bar which has
the URL selected doesn't copy the content to primary selection.
Using the triple click workaround is different from all other Linux and Gtk
applications. It is also different from browsers like Palemoon.

Looks like you system was not configured with a valid hostname and
domain name - as a result the postfix configuration is broken which is
