Mi sembra che il problema possa non essere circoscritto a Banshee, anche Suond Juicer non rileva i metadati. It seems to me that the problem can not be confined to Banshee, even Suond Juicer does not recognize the metadata. Asunder invece li rileva. When I made the report it happened more often, and I seem to remember (but I'm not sure) that it did it even without extensions. Now it happens much less. I have a dual boot with 18.04, the problem also appeared there. I had found an advice on disabling HPET in the BIOS, but there is no option. It happens with more than one open card, especially with Facebook. I have the swap configured, with Ubuntu it can be about 300 Mb in swap. You can remove the print queue (cancel the job) and then disconnect and reconnect the printer.
