I have the same behaviour since upgrade to Lucid, and this bug is not
fixed for me with current kernel 2.6.32-24-generic. Still getting broken
MAC address after reboot.

impact of disabling NCQ. Please take your favorite I/O benchmark and

After switching on flightmode in one timezone and switching it off in
another timezone the tz and local time doesn't get updated
automatically. Need to adjust timezone manually in the system settings.

Disabled SNA like suggested in comment #40 and that fixed the problem
for me. This was serious for me, as playing a video in VLC (and maybe
moving the window or seeking in the video) would crash X within a few
seconds.

I have just installed a fresh Ubuntu 15.10 to my machine and run into
trouble with adding ppa repositories using apt-add-repository:
for e.g. running
apt-add-repository ppa:git-core/ppa
Cannot add PPA: 'ppa:~git-core/ubuntu/ppa'.
ERROR: '~git-core' user or team does not
I started recovery mode and reïnstalled kubuntu-desktop. Everything does
work again (except some really weird glitching in muon-discover and
kubuntu asking to install the "KDE Dutch language pack" frequently.).
I already tried different ISO's and USB sticks. The problem persists.
