Sorry about my unprecise report last time.
In 18.04(.1) I observed this issue only when embedding OLE objects. I
first attributed this to maybe a slight difference in width or height of
the embedded object.
I can reign out this as I have adjusted the size.

It happens in the default installation.
Current version is 6.1.2.1 and any embedded file or object gets rendered
blurred.
Haven't tried snap only AppImage. With AppImage, all embediments are

I cannot verify as of when this issue started.
I did use the USB devices in question with 18.04.1 (prior to the upgrade to
18.10) and they did work fine.

sorry that it took longer than expected to test the new package.
I have installed it right now and it seems to be working. I have no errors in
my openvpn logfile and I can reach my firewalled machine through the tunnel.
If you dont hear till monday from me then I would give this a go.
For a while Logout/Resume/Switch User worked fine with Wayland (as well
as with Xorg when I cross-checked it).
But finally, when I tried "Switch User" again with Wayland, I got stuck
on the Login-Page of the current user - it was not possible to get the
page displaying all available users.

I could narrow this issue to the NVIDIA graphics card.
If Intel is enabled (prime-select) the issue disappears and the machine sleeps
sound and quiet.

I could narrow this issue down to the NVIDIA driver.
Setting the graphics card to Intel eliminates the issue.

UPDATE: I've tried removing and re-installing my Exchange account from
Evolution, hoping that it might refresh the calendar. This has done
nothing.

Did you try all the settings that I described in this thread?
1. I had to create a /var/cache/samba directory (which you might probably have
already).
2. The settings dialog has changed.
