[Bug 1426711] Re: ibutils InfiniBand network utilities package has a missing dependancy in Ubuntu 14.10
Yepp, I can confirm that ibutils 1.5.7-3 breaks in Ubuntu 14.10, since it links against no-longer-provided libosmvendor.so.3. The Ubuntu 14.10 version of libopensm5 (3.3.18-1) instead provide libosmvendor.so.4. Making a non-change rebuild against an Ubuntu 14.10 environment makes ibutils link up properly. The reason for this not being an issue in Ubuntu 15.04 is because its 1.5.7-3build1 verison is the needed rebuild. @Andreas: In case you want/can test the Ubuntu 14.10 rebuild against actual InfiniBand hardware you can add the https://launchpad.net/~andol/+archive/ubuntu/ibutils PPA. Either that, or directly grab these two debs: https://launchpad.net/~andol/+archive/ubuntu/ibutils/+build/7020816/+files/ibutils_1.5.7-3build0.1%7Eppa_amd64.deb, https://launchpad.net/~andol/+archive/ubuntu/ibutils/+build/7020816/+files/libibdm1_1.5.7-3build0.1%7Eppa_amd64.deb ** Changed in: ibutils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: ibutils (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1426711 Title: ibutils InfiniBand network utilities package has a missing dependancy in Ubuntu 14.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibutils/+bug/1426711/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1286196] Re: puppet incompatible with 14.04 packet mechanism
I can confirm this issue running the Ubuntu 14.04 puppet 3.4.2-1 verison. This appearing to be related to the upstream bug https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PUP-337, except that I disagree about the fix version. Under Ubuntu 12.04, where I run the puppetlabs puppet packages the problem went away when upgrading from Puppet 3.4.2-1puppetlabs1 to Puppet 3.4.3-1puppetlabs1. Under Ubuntu 14.04 the problem likewise went away upgrading from Puppet 3.4.2-1 to Puppet 3.4.3-1, with the later version being manually taken from Debian Sid. The easiest fix here is probalby making sure that Ubuntu 14.04 too gets Puppet 3.4.3-1 before release. ** Changed in: puppet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: puppet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1286196 Title: puppet incompatible with 14.04 packet mechanism To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/puppet/+bug/1286196/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yepp, that time line sounds about right to me too. Given that gnome-terminal 3.6.2-0ubuntu1 is from the 16th of December I would assume then that the issue is due to some gnome/unity change. Also, when running gnome-terminal under Xfce the "Enable menu access keys (such as Alt+F to open the File menu)" setting still works as expected. ** Summary changed: - gnome-terminal not respecting "Enable menu access keys" setting + gnome-terminal not respecting "Enable menu access keys" setting, inside the Unity desktop environment. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1282203 Title: gnome-terminal not respecting "Enable menu access keys" setting, inside the Unity desktop environment. [Bug 1282203] [NEW] gnome-terminal not respecting "Enable menu access keys" setting
Public bug reported: Under Edit --> Keyboard Shortcuts.. there is a checkbox for "Enable menu access keys (such as Alt+F to open the File menu)". That checkbox appear to have no affect what so ever. No matter whatever I have it checked or not I still get the same behavior, that menu access keys are enabled.
