[Bug 998651] Re: Unable to enter password to decrypt harddisk after upgrading to ubuntu 12.04 with wireless keyboard

Maarten, thanks for all your work - your youtube video gave me the clue that it had something to do with certain modules not loaded during bootup. How do we get what we've found out into the distro? When I tried using kubuntu 12.04 live CD, the keyboard doesn't respond during the bootup process

Found the answer: In kernel 3.2 and 3.4 (but not 3.0), the module hid_logitech_dj is needed for full support of the unifying receiver. This module is not loaded into the ramdisk for our keyboards to work during the bootup process. I'm surprised that this bug hasn't been more prominent. So to fix

Hi everyone, Like many of you, I'm eager to get my Lucent/Agere/Orinoco Silver/Gold PCMCIA card working with WPA on my wife's old IBM X24. Kubuntu had made a great impression on her, but I'm not (yet) willing to turn off or turn down the encryption level of my wireless router. There are many

[Bug 194924] Re: Please upgrade unison to 2.27.57

Its unfortunate this didn't make it into Hardy. Until this update makes it into the ubuntu repositories, has anyone tried using Debian packages? The list of files seem identical for the i386. I'm new to this, but I was always under the impression that each ubuntu release is modified from a recent
