I'm seeing this issue on a fresh install of Hardy as well as an upgrade
from Gutsy. It's actually worse on the fresh install, the check box
gets ticked intermittently while I'm logged in (i.e. no rebooting
necessary to trigger it). At the present time:
gconftool-2 --get /desktop/gnome/accessibil
I upgraded from Gutsy. Disabling the setting "allow to control pointer
using keyboard" is not always persistant on my box. Sometimes I'll
reboot and the setting witll stay disabled, other times I'll reboot and
the setting will be re-enabled. Definitely a bug somewhere here..

Okay, I'm new at this debugging stuff. Here is one more dump, this time
I installed the debugging symbols for libwnck and libglib. I think this
dump provides a lot better info than the other ones. Please let me know
if there is something I should do to get rid of this problem! Thanks!!

Since it's happening so frequently here's another backtrace.. There's
plenty more where this came from! =P~ It's the same type of crash
every time. This one happened after I reinstalled the packages libwnck
and libglib2.

I don't know what's going on but gnome-panel crashes with randomness
every day. I removed the "recently-used" files and it didn't help.
There is no one thing that I do to make it crash, it just crashes at

This is a problem in Feisty as well. Surprised no one reported it yet.
I have tons of duplicate entries for programs and only one or 2 of them
work. Mostly I have duplicates for video files, basically it was any
type of file where I added a custom program.

Jeremy,
It doesn't happen unless video is playing. I am using Metacity.
For example, if I move Nautilus windows around while video is not
playing, the CPU usage stays very low.

I'm running an Asus P5B-E, C2D E6420 processor, nVidia 7600 GS video
card with the proprietary drivers. Anytime I play videos using mplayer,
VLC, xine, kaffeine, totem, etc etc... the playback is choppy
intermittently and if I move or resize the window the CPU usage of Xorg
