3) Open a long web page or document
3) Scroll down (drag two fingers down the pad)
The page scrolls easily and the cursor doesn't move (desired behaviour)

Ubuntu detects this as a failure to resume from suspend, but the issue
is actually slightly different. Specifically, the issue is that the

In the message list in Karmic the status column is still titled
'Flagged' (as opposed to simply 'Status' or 'Important'). This is
confusing because there is also another column called 'Follow up flag'.
When creating a search folder the status field is referred to as
'Status' 'Important'.

Switching to a different router solved the problem with being unable to
connect for me. It's odd because it was only intrepid which couldn't
connect. Hardy and other devices could connect to that router without a
problem.
The other issue, with not remembering keys is documented in other bug

Hi Christian. IMO, this bug is now fixed. This bug relates to Toshiba
A100-306s, which won't resume from suspend. They now will resume.
Therefore if you are still having suspend problems, you need to file a
separate bug.
Also, the two bugs marked as duplicates of this one do not appear to be
Ubuntu 2.6.27-3.4-generic
I've noticed that some times the actual line it hangs at is just after
Detected Intel Wirless Wifi Link 3945ABG e.g. at the synaptic touchpad
driver line instead.

My FON router lets out two wifi signals: 1) Public, open and insecure
which people can pay to use, 2) Personal, usually secure as it is for my
use.

Ah looks like I spoke to soon... I get immediately prompted for my wifi
password. If I type it in really quick while the rest of gnome is still

Ok now LP#265040 is fixed i've tried deleting the old keys from seahorse
and nm then re-adding. I'm still getting the same symptoms. No
connection and this saved (or something similar)

I can confirm that setting up a new user account with the same email
address account the problem still occurs.

Ok, I've figured out what the problem is. There appear to be two kinds
of Flags.
There is the 'Flagged' column which appears by default in Ubuntu.
Clicking in here next to a message makes an orange exclamation emblem
appear next to that message. However these messages do not appear in a
Follow Up
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Evolution
2) From the Search menu choose to create a new search folder
3) Select criteria Follow Up Flagged
4) Choose to search any OR all folders (bug occurs either way)
Expected behavior:
Opening the search folder would produce a list of flagged messages.

In Evolution on Hardy creating a search folder to filter for follow up
flagged messages returns no result.
This happens on both my machines. I have 4 imap accounts: 2 gmail, 2
work related.
This is a little bit like
I get that distorted boot screen if I enter anything into xorg.conf
beyond the stub version above. The way I fixed a similar problem was by
deleting monitors.xml and regenerating xorg.conf with sudo dpkg-
reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg leaving it an empty stub.

In Hardy I'm getting a hang almost every time when I click XDMCP login
from the gdmgreeter, there is about 5 lines of text on the screen, the
last line is 'running local boot scripts etc rc.local'. The same thing
sometimes happens more rarely on

Steps to reproduce:
1) Have multiple users
2) Login as one of them
3) Switch users and login as someone else
4) Logout from the second user

I agree with Chris, the real issue is that there is no warning. I don't
think it would be good behaviour to not allow shutdown if other people
were logged in, but there should definitely be a warning.

When I visit ~/.local/share/Trash/ the files I want to delete don't
appear to be there.
rm ~/.local/share/Trash/* results in an error because there are
directories contained in that folder...

xorg.conf is a stub in Hardy, so it's supposed to be largely empty.
Config is now in per user in your home folder /.gnome2/monitors.xml the
rest is done on the fly by xrandr. If xrandr isn't detecting your
hardward properly you could try sudo displayconfig-gtk. This will create
a new (filled in)
Since the configurations are different (and some are now fixed) this
might be several different problems...

This seems to happen to me on pages with flash. I think... Just did it
on this site http://www.theworldsbiggestmexicanwave.com/ The bug reports
are always far to big to send however (upto 40mb!). I use the non-free
Adobe plugin.
