Correction: I wrote a moment ago that x-terminal-emulator -e %s seems to work as a work around. That actually brings up a blank terminal window with nothing visible in it, that has to be manually closed. lxterminal seems to work for me. A terminal window opens, and closes when the job has

IMHO it is NOT a theme problem, it's a problem with the Indicator Applet. All the themes have too much spacing between the icons. I use Human Clearlooks where it is particularly bad. However, if this is a problem with the theme, how do we adjust the theme so there is no spacing between icons?

Also still affects me. I updated to Maverick, rather than a fresh install and this problem is still there. I've tried each theme that is installed on my computer and the problem exists on each of them. The extra spacing seems to vary between themes, but it is worst on Human- Clearlooks. Guess
