[Bug 145886] Re: gmail entry missing in thunderbird account wizard on non english locale
Huh, this report is nearly ten years old :-) Nevertheless, I've just tried with one of the formerly troublesome locales. Things look differently now, there's a choice for creating a new account (just gandi.net) or using an existing one. With the latter, I've been able to successfully configure a GMail box, so this can likely be closed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145886 Title: gmail entry missing in thunderbird account wizard on non english locale To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/145886/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 284421] Re: GParted freezes after creating a NTFS partition
No problem at all. From what I remember the whole system had been locking up on each try, but I had managed to partition the drive in the end, probably using Windows installer before gparted. On the other hand, the disk has died approximately half a year later and I've not seen anything similar with newer disks / Ubuntus, so it may have been a kind of a hardware problem (moreover, a firmware flaw was reported in the Barracuda 7200.11 series -- Seagate was even offering free data recovery). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284421 Title: GParted freezes after creating a NTFS partition To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gparted/+bug/284421/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 276341] Re: Flash drive problem, Kubuntu 8.04
A BIOS update means replacing some firmware on your motherboard: usually you check the producer of your motherboard, visit their site and in some support section look for BIOS updates and a manual for the given model (one of sites having more info: http://www.wikihow.com/Update-Your- Computer%27s-BIOS). This would maybe solve this flood mentioned above, so maybe improve efficiency or avoid some crashes and other problems. For the command be sure to have the flash plugged in, note that this may lead to data loss on the drive, so make a backup first (using Windows or another machine). Also, the disk might have been mapped to a different device, look for FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1) in dmesg output and if it says something different than dev sdb1 update the command. -- Flash drive problem, Kubuntu 8.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276341 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Gutsy, LG Studioworks 57i is not recognized correctly resulting in [EMAIL PROTECTED] :) mode. This fortunately falls back to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Running displayconfig-gtk and selecting generic monitor solves the problem (this very model is not in the database). -- Xorg resolution falling back to 640x480 and/or 800x600 when h/v freqs incorrect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/3731 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a subscriber of a duplicate bug. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 137813] Re: dasher crashes when changing language to german
Same log. Crashes when changing to other languages too. Also the text field does not appear and causes segmentation fault when just quitting. -- dasher crashes when changing language to german https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137813 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
