I think the debconf-question importance should not be raised, and I am
also against setting scponlyc suid by default. Imho there should be some
information on this in /usr/share/doc/scponly ...

Sounds as if the mixing devices get loaded in differend order, so that
they get differend device names. There is a way to explicitly assign the
order in which modules get loaded (and hence get named) - I just forgot
how to do that. But I think this is a Ubuntu bug, such stuff should not
happen.
I just gut the information, that the ALSA module soundcard problem
should be fixed in herd-2 (which is the current snapshot of feisty).

I am using edgy (evince 0.6.1-0ubuntu1, so the same as you) and I also
cannot reproduce the bugreport.
I am running an x86 platform - do you too?

Yes, should really be removed. (imo there should not be typo3-packages
in ubuntu at all - a metapackage containing imagemagick,
mysql/postgres/..., apache and php would be okay).

The default for hiding and showing tilda is None+F1, but in Ubuntu F1 is
bound to the ubuntu-help - there is no simple gui-way to change this, so
the default key should be changed to something not yet in use or at
least beeing changed easily.
