partition scheme. Use MBR partition and allocate just one primary
partition to FreeBSD.

I've solved the problem by changing my 40_custom to
menuentry FreeBSD {
set root=(hd0,2)
chainloader +1
}
Now I can boot FreeBSD 8.1 without any problem.

The Gparted program on Ububtu 10.10 LiveCD crashes as soon as it starts,
making it impossible to use it on a LiveCD session.
10.04 LTS LiveCD's Gparted runs very well.
Thus, I partitioned using 10.04 LiveCD for my 10.10 installation.
I can't remember where I got the configuration, from some guide I found
from googling. The thing is it works well on 10.04 LTS and worked with
the 10.10BETA CD installation, but it doesn't work anymore after
updating bunch of packages.

I hope it'll be fixed soon because many new Korean Ubuntu users face
this same problem at the beginning and give it up, thinking Linux is not
compatible. I remember before the dhclient adopted some years ago, the
dhcp client (I can't remember the name off head) did not have this

I am not a font expert, but my thought is that if any part of a font
package is uglier than the system default one, it should not be
installed by default and should not have a higher priority than the
system default one.

Even my local is en_US.UTF8, I should be able to visit some Korean
websites, right? Without ttf-wqy-* packages, I have no problem in doing
so with the Ubuntu 9.10 system default (i.e. I haven't changed any font
nor locale setting except adding Korean language, but the default is
still en_US.UTF8)
