I get this error repeatedly when working with sftp (and ocassionally
ftp) connections in nautilus. It's like the sftp session times out in
the background but nautilus doesn't want to reopen it - it just gives
this error when I try to re-access that host until i logout/login.

I have just upgraded to Evolution 2.22.2-0ubuntu1.2 and evolution-data-
server 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 and it still fails.
It seems that it tries to get the password from the keyring, but it isn't there:

I see the same bug in gnumeric version 1.8.2-1ubuntu1 under Ubuntu 8.04,
and confirm that installing gnumeric-gtk in place of gnumeric fixes it.
Using the gnumeric package, only a few functions (min, max, sum,
product, and a very few more) are defined.

You can read the debian bug report page for details. But a simple
workaround is to use the command /usr/bin/time instead of just time.
If it is not corrected, it would at least be nice to mention this in the
man page.

I never used nautilus. I installed it to see if it would deal with my
ftp places in the Places menu and, since I hadn't used it before,
nothing came up (even trying to import an unknown name from an unknown
folder...). I was back to square one. It took hours but I found the non-
nautilus solution.

I am using Hardy Heron with network-manager-openvpn
0.3.2svn2342-1ubuntu4. Using a passphrase with blanks did not work for
me. It took me a while to reach this bug report which has drawn my
attention to the blanks in the passphrase. Trying without blanks solved
my problem.

Oh, sorry. I just forgot to add the model I am using. It is the CTE-640,
so it is not the A6, but the A5 Version. I am using Xubuntu, not ubuntu.

upgrade to Hardy.
Hi, i had a similar problem on my laptop:
* I have 2 encrypted partitions: sda5 and sda6:
/dev/sda5 - swap partition
/dev/sda6 - mapped to /var (with binding /var/home - /home)
* Both partitions use the same password
* I use uswsusp for hibernate/resume features
* The initramfs step asks me
confirmed, is the same version i am using.
I found it casually trying all the versions.

so on.
The sortation of nautilus is:
Der Weltraum I - Feuerkugel ...
Der Weltraum III - Odyssee ...

And after setting the audio-input to the tuner (0) with
/usr/bin/v4l2-ctl -d /dev/video0 --set-audio-input=0 I still get no
sound out of the card.
I have a USB webcam but even when I cold boot without the webcam pluged
in the pvr-150 does not give me any audio ..

I found a solution to make my device work under any Hardy kernel
following this guide:

But I could only make it work using wicd, network manager doesn't seem
to connect, but then with wicd it works nearly flawlessy!

I think the importance of this bug should be higher than Wishlist because
it's a big usability issue for a such common thing.
Is there anything that ubuntu developers could do to accelerate the resolution
of this bug upstream?
