I have to switch off visual effects because of bug #262367 But even if I
switch the effects off, the effects will be enabled again after restart
of the session.
Expected behavior: System respects user settings.

Booted up-to-date Intrepid with 2.6.27-3.4 successfull 3 times without any
problems to desktop with Virtualbox 2.0.0 and VT-X/AMD-V disabled. The third
time it fell back to text-output doing a fsck check but continued without any
problems.
I do have to say that with VT-X/AMD-V (which my CPU
I'm experiencing the same issue using the 2.2.1 version of the Intel
driver on a Dell Inspiron 500m. Everything works in normal orientation,
but when I rotate left, Totem (and the Firefox plugin) hangs the system
when it's trying to display either a video or a visualizer.

The internal microphone that come with the Crystal Eye webcam does not
work: I'm not able to get any input from it using any software.
If I connect a microphone to the microphone jack it works fine.
