'Replace' doesn't replace values

trusty and utopic are not affected, as both have lxsession packages that
depend on lxsession-logout.
I believe the importance should be set to low, as installing LXDE on
vanilla Ubuntu instead of installing Lubuntu or lubuntu-desktop will

If you say it's consistently reproducible, I can give it a try if you
could be a little more specific with steps.
How low memory is close to out of memory enough to get it to stop
playing? I can't reproduce a stop with high RAM usage here.
I can reproduce audio started in audacious GUI still
Testing on vivid, even without Replace all at once, I cannot reproduce
this bug.
Tested with generated lorem ipsum. Replace lorem with A (one at
a time) worked as expected.
Tested with a lot (~25 paragraphs) of generated lorem ipsum. Replaced
lorem with 50 (one at a time) worked as expected.
It's true that removing lxsession-logout will render you unable to
logout of the desktop using the desktop logout button.
Running this command:
