I searched for bluefish, and marked for installation.
Then I searched for cssed and marked for installation.
Then again for mlview.
Then I click 'apply' and see what's to be

etc. I resolved this by changing
Option XkbRules xorg

in /etc/X11/xorg.conf and restarting X.

Hi,
no I ended up reinstalling from scratch. Before I did I discovered that
if I ran fsck it tries to run fsck.ntfs. Running the correct fsck
showed no errors.

Yes it affects me too. I tried to select the Android remote option so I
can use MythMote and I get the same error. As a result I can't use

My desktop is what appears to be 16 colours, however the icons and the
browser all appear 32 bit high colour. This happened after I was forced

Working on Debian 7.11 for RPI, I came across this bug with pip-3.2.
I tracked it down to the dowload.py module from pip that instantiate an HTTP
transport by default.
Later on, this default transport will make it to the client, which will

I am also experiencing this problem. Rotating the screen only partially
solves this problem. Taskbar icons remain heavily artifact-ed. A better
solution is running
unity --replace-icons
which corrects the problem until next reboot.

Hi Marc, I am the original user. Thanks to Alan for filing the bug
report. I'll clarify a couple of things. The machine (running Ubuntu
9.04) is on a typical domestic 192.168.1.x network, and *does* have

up a bit. There seem to be two issues here with Network Manager:
1. It doesn't play nicely with hard-coded interfaces in /etc/network/interfaces
2. If eth1 (for example) gets reassigned from a wired interface to
Dell Latitude C400 here, got the same with Ubuntu 10.04 and before that
Ubuntu 9.04. Specifically, after booting, and logging in the first
time, there is no mouse pointer. If I lock the screen (by leaving it
idle for a while or by finding the lock screen widget that I've set up
for this purpose)
