[Bug 927078] [NEW] frameworkd sometimes using 100% CPU

2012-02-05 Thread Martin Weis
Public bug reported: I found the process frameworkd already often using 100% CPU. I am not using this package expplicitely, it was installed as a dependency, and therefore I did not yet debug that problem further/have detailed information. Since the machine it is running on is a laptop, it sometim

Thanks Chris, this was the reason. Setting that var to false stops this behaviour (Edit-Preferences-Advanced-[Config Editor...] for the curious). I never changed/touched this manually, though. The flag seems to be not recognised in earlier versions, since by reverting to an older version it did

[Bug 803610] Re: synaptics touchpad upgrade freezes X directly after login

2011-06-29 Thread Martin Weis
Just seem to have resolved the issue by also installing gsynaptics (removed a few days earlier), now I am back to a fuctional touchpad in gnome. So it may be more a gnome issue (although unity showed same problem, freeze after login). So this bug should be closed, I will see if problem reappears.

I had to manually deinstall adobereader-deu (version 9.4.2-0maverick1) and install acroread (9.4.2-0natty1). This seems to be a weirdness from dist-upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bug
