successfully. I made a simple test by increasing some property of cairo
to 5.0 width and - it worked :). I managed to create a new style that is
called NEWWAVE (like GUMMY and CLASSIC). From now on please use it
instead of GUMMY

If it is burning CD-Rs and DVD+Rs then I don't see any reason why it
shouldn't also manage DVD+RWs... I assume that the disk has not been
finalised or something like that, in which case you need to erase it before
you start.

I'd definitely try a few different ones, though, before spending significant
amounts of time on looking into the Ubuntu setup.
Are you dual-booting? If so, why not try it in Windows too, and see what
that does? If the problem persists it isn't the drivers.

Architecture is very different on the Linutop.
Viglen runs Xubuntu and has a 60GB hard drive... Linutop has a core embedded
Linux containing the basic applications with the option to run more on a
memory stick (I believe) and no hard drive.

Em questão de performance e suporte a formatos, creio que seja o
mplayer. Eu uso o Totem mesmo para assistir a maioria
Pra videos curtos eu uso o totem mesmo mas pra assitir filme eu prefiro
o Xine... ele coloca a legenda na parte inferior da tela (parte preta em
filmes wide) e isso facilita a leitura... só não sou fã do mplayer pq ele
sempre da pau no meu pc.

é o tipo de iniciativa q merece destaque por dois caminhos, inclusão dos

Tenho um modem no meu pc. com o comando lspci aparece:
04:03.0 Communication controller: Motorola Wildcard X100P
então eu queria saber onde encontro ele no /dev, pois no efax-gtk aparece
pra mim /dev/ttyS1 e não está dando certo.
Já vi algo parecido com link,
Resolvi da seguinte forma:
sudo -i
depois dentro do diretório do programa ./install

mas experimente ativar o usb legacy support na bios e veja se dá
resultado.

Yakuake é muito legal, mesmo sendo KDE eu uso ele no meu ambiente GNOME,

Andei pesquisando alguns outros aqui e gostei muito do Aterm, Eterm... dá
para deixá-lo
Olá amigos da lista,
Instalei o PostgreSQL normalmente via apt-get, como fiz nas outras
versões do Ubuntu. O problema é que nesta versão ele não aparece como
um serviço a ser ligado/desligado em Sistema-Administração-Serviços.
Alguém sabe por que isso está acontecendo?
