I wouild be inclined to examine the media, rather than the drive. If it is burning CD-Rs and DVD+Rs then I don't see any reason why it shouldn't also manage DVD+RWs... I assume that the disk has not been finalised or something like that, in which case you need to erase it before you start. Sean
