texto) vc pode restaurar um sistema defeituoso que, além de outras coisas,
vc poderá reinstalar o grub. Mas para isso vc vai precisar saber qual eh a
sua partição raiz dentro do /dev. Caso o /boot esteja separado, vc tb

Pedro, tô usando o virtual box, não usei o vmware, tem muita diferença?
O virtual box para uso doméstico, versão completa, funciona bem pra mim.

Acessando as máquinas pelo IP funcionou sem problemas.
Impressoras e compartilhamentos configurados e todos felizes com o Ubuntu.
Só ficou a dúvida que por qual motivo ele não deixa acessar as máquinas
pelo nome, mas enfim, o que interessa que está tudo funcionando...

Решаю задачу резервного копирования.
Необходимо загрузится с установочного диска ubuntu server в режим
восстановления и забрать несколько файлов с удалённого хоста. Вопрос в
следующем, какие стандартные решения существуют? Перерыл весь rescue mode:
ни ssh, ни ftp, ни tftp там нет. Даже nfs нет.
