it and found that the release being tested was not available to
download anymore. I've downloaded the latest daily release and

de gravação de cd e gravar a imagem (que é o arquivo iso) em um cd. Esse
processo abrirá o conteudo do arquivo e o descompactará no cd, criando os

Вся система стоит на WD Raptor 36 гигов (с ним вроде все ок)
Недавно поставил 2 серверных винта WD ys по 320 гигов
Один из 320 встал нормально (это sdb)
А вот второй винт выпендривается:

Смахивает на то, что присутствуют сбойные сектора на диске. А что говорит
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdc ?
можно sudo badblocks -sv попробовать натравить на диск.

This still occurs in the 9.10 beta. In fact, the upgrade has disabled
the fix I'd put in, based on this bug, under 9.04.
As it's such a simple fix, lets do this for 9.10 final shall we ?

The server event log has nothing near the time in question, and nothing I can
relate to Access Denied.
No problem with /dev/sda size - except my geriatric amnesia.
To avoid red herrings, my /etc/hosts file did not have the server name; name

I can confirm that the problem exists on latest beta I downloaded on Sat
Oct 3. My Acer Aspire 6930G can see both network card (wired and
wireless) fine on 9.04 but not on 9.10.
9.04 sees the cards as:

I've just run into trouble getting libnss-ldap to connect to
authenticate to LDAP server using SASL as well on Jaunty. Like you, I
had it working OK on Lenny. How do you know it's a problem with
overriding ccache location?
