Recenty i helped a friend install Ubuntu 10.04 on his Dell Inspiron machine.
The OS already on board was Wincedows 7 Home Premium. There were 3

Olá pessoal, estou com um probleminha para mudar a senha do meu usuário.
Tanto pelo terminal *passwd*
Como, usando o programa *Sobre mim*
ou o programa *Usuários e grupos*
Todos dão erros. Na realidade não dá erro, fica no loop interminável
mas não altera a senha. usando pelo terminal ele diz
Alguem sabe se em algum lugar da internet eu encontro biblioteca para
o DIA que eu possa criar prototipagem de telas (mockups) ?

eu tinha em minha maquina instalado o VMware-Worktation era no ubuntu 9.04
formatei e instalei o 10.04 LTS e nao tem como instalar mais o
VMware-Workstation . queria qualquer versao. nao consigo pelo apt-get nem
pelo site nem por tutorial. nao dá erros porque nem chego a começar a
instalação

Você não precisa instalar o windows para isso..
Instale o Wine ( # apt-get install wine )
E atráves dele.. você conseguira utilizar o iTunes no ubuntu...
Eu faço isso...

Ou Vc pode instalar um VM do Windows... o que faria que o iTunes (em
tese) funcionasse perfeitamente, e vc não precisaria mexer no seu Ubuntu.
