Okay so I've updated the gtk theme and Kin now uses the Humanity
icons. This was really an update that should have happened
wallpapers. That way you get a large number of 'default' wallpapers
without having to bloat the CD.

If I make a usplash theme with only a 16:9 option and a screen setup for
a 16:9 resolution (I have a crt which works with any resolution put to
it) the usplash does not display. I add a 4:3 option and the usplash
then displays with stretched graphics.

It is still a problem. I've been running intrepid for a while and only
just gotten usplash working again, v86d issues, anyway...
I have set my resolution in /etc/usplash.conf to the widescreen option
1680x1050, and have also tried 1920x1200, 1920x1080 and 640x400. I then

For anybody using Kin Tonic, have a play around with the colours in the
'Customise Theme' dialogue. I would especially like to see what colours
people like for their window background. I particularly like #FFF8E6, I
can't stop thinking of cheesecake, its delicious!

The package description is misleading and confusing for new users. It
has been a direct cause of problems for most new-to-Linux power users
I've met. Hell, in 7.10 I saw the description and thought Aha! I don't

Those reflections are pretty nice. The more subtle elements are good if
people are genuinely moving away from gloss. I think gentle curves for
reflections are better, we have enough hard edges on the screen as it
is.
