Fron the Web-GUI Wireless Interface Configuration page, uncheck OnBoot

May be a coincidence, but since installing the latest 7.8 git on Fedora,
I'm noticing more than frequent dropouts on radio streams.

This one would be mine to fix... what version of the plugin

castalla, I was having frequent radio dropouts with both my Sheevaplug
and RPi. I did a full Clear Library and rescan everything and it seems
to have sorted the problems.

So I tried the Lilliput FA1013NP-Y/S, which is a native 1024x600 which
you can input upto 1920x1080. I found I got overscan on a lot of the
settings, especially 1920x1080. I ended up with 1280x1024 but then I
changed the aspect ratio of the display to 4:3 (under Micellaneous in
the menu). This

Thanks. But I suspect there's no connection between the two! I'll do
it in any case.
Hi adrinr
I've also added 'smsc95xx.turbo_mode=n' to cmdline.txt and I'm testing
right now. Lets hope that this solves all our problems. If so I suppose
Steen will release a new version of piCorePlayer.
Thanks adrianr, Steen and Slackhead. And of course Triode!
Greetz Willem
And I threw together a clean install.same problem.
For posterity here is the debug file. Max sample rate 192,000? Am I
wrong in thinking this is reading some other card or device or
something? Is the problem with my asound.conf file?
root@squeezeplug:~# squeezelite -d all=debug
Try this:
squeezelite -o hw:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 -a 20:4:24_3:0

Hi Willem.
I hope that you will have success with the new settings.
Could you please at some time try your Musical Fidelity V-DAC II card
with the new settings in cmdline.txt as well.
It might help with this card also as it did for Adrian for his Musical
Fidelity v-link192 card.

Your dac doesn't support S24_LE format = 24, instead use S24_3LE =
24_3.
Try this:
squeezelite -o hw:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 -a 20:4:24_3:1 -d all=debug
Awesome. That's it. Thank you.

Status: Running

Hello
Thanks for the image and concept. good idea !
I tested the last 0.9. Wifi perfectly works.
Sound outputs via 3.5mm jack or HDMI work also
But impossible to have a sound without noise and distorsion via my USB
DAC (PCM2704 based). I tried -a 800:4, -o front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 as
proposed by
Glad it helped you out Willem.
The information on changine cmdline.txt came from this page here:
http://wiki.linuxaudio.org/wiki/raspberrypi
This has other useful info concerning the RPi and is well worth a read.
Cheers,
Richard

Tanks for trying piCorePlayer. I think that your USB is supported, it

What is the output if you put in the USB card and then use option 3 in

Thank you anyway for the support Steen !

Hi,
Adding 'smsc95xx.turbo_mode=n' to cmdline.txt did not make any
difference. It did not solve my problems. I still get the static noise
after a few hours of playing. My MF V-DAC II still is not working
properly. It plays music but only with clicks/pops. Sorry I have no
better news.
One remaining issue.
I can't seem to get this playback with that command if the RPi is booted
and the command resides in /etc/default/squeezelite
So I added it to /etc/rc.local and rebooted. Still didn't get full

That feature must be in a later release; I'm running R3

guide question: How do I update CSOS?
Thanks, gregb
