or the new adapternames - your script would'nt get the real mac of the
used adapter.
squeezelite (unless you told it with -m) always uses a mac from an
active adapter.

i have no clue about picoreplayer, but Jivelite is just a gui frontend -
you may have some squeezelite session to run the audiostream.
squeezelite supports the -S Parameter that runs a script when you power
on/off that player.
Now you only need a scripted way to do the same like telling

that "script" is tested and it should work.
just open something like putty or any other ssh tool you have
and copy one line from here / the wiki into that ssh

post your server.log
stop lms
rm var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/server.prefs
start lms again

my harddisk from the "new" LMS Server is already 10682 Hours old.
2 years earlier i bought and installed my last SD Card for my RPIs
_running std. Rasbian with a small /tmp as ramdisk.
These SD Cards have no issues at all.
And these RPIs are at least updated every month with the latest

if squeezelite is running with some -m abcdefgh that changes the mac
adress from the builtin to that abcdefgh.
but its only squeezelite not the pi that uses dhcp.
