I have set up a system with picore clients for many years. Now I have tried the Pi3B+ as a LMS server, and it is probably the fastest version I have played with (as compaired to Vortexbox, PC, MAC installs) My library is about 9 tunes in 7000 albums, and the scan seems to never run full, it

I'd be surprised if it was from running hot. I have a pi 3B+ with attached USB drive with about 100,000~ mostly FLAC files and it can do a full scan with no issues in a reasonable amount of time. The pi is in a metal case and there is no fan blowing on it. *Home:* VBA 4TB (2.4)>LMS
