Expanded filesystem from 1gig to whole card (8gig) lets see what that
leeds
-How did you install the modules? Did you compile them yourself (with
buildme.sh) or use CPAN / portage? Did you install LMS from the -noCPAN
tar? -
I sometimes used emerge if there was a gentoo package; sometimes the
cpan command.
I was trying to run the LMS *with* the CPAN files.
I don't

Ah - it means the time that the music was added to the database ... I
had thought it meant additional time - although I could not think what
that would be for.
Brain went slow.

You might want to start over: shut down LMS, delete the library.db from

I am sure that there is a way to get LMS working with newer perl
versions; but the loss of LMS is scary to contemplate.
The tarball should indeed be working. But if in doubt, you can compile
the Perl binaries from

I'd be surprised if it was from running hot. I have a pi 3B+ with
attached USB drive with about 100,000~ mostly FLAC files and it can do a
full scan with no issues in a reasonable amount of time. The pi is in a
metal case and there is no fan blowing on it.

Param 6 is Epoch time - which converts to "GMT: Saturday, 19 January
2019 10:17:00"
If scan works

If you are looking at the console output then that could simply be the
last line output - which would be quite normal.
Do you see any signs that it has an IP address?
Have you tried accessing it from a web browser on your computer/ tablet
/ phone?

I had forgotten the -E option when launching JiveLite - that makes the
environment variables available to

That is the normal output on the console.
Just pretend that you havent seen it and carry on with the set-up ...
via web browser.
Same thing was raised by someone else recently.
I suspect that pCP team will change the output in future release.

I can make an image using the Disk Utility on my Mac, but
It's a 32GB USB drive, with a 64MB partition called 'linux-boot', a
255.9MB
Here's what we use in piCorePlayer.
Code:
/usr/local/sbin/wpa_supplicant -i$INTERFACE -c$WPASUPPLICANTCONF
-Dnl80211,wext -B > /dev/null 2>&1
The gradual change from wext to nl80211 has caused us problems in the
past.

Don't use portage for LMS' modules (unless the exact version of the
module is in portage (which never is)).
CPAN is even worse, as this will conflict with portage and LMS

I don't know yet, I've been doing the wireless install.
I have got this far before
Code:
joggler@joggler:~$ wpa_passphrase PLUSNET-P7HKNN * | sudo tee
/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
network={
Great progress and some :o
once I rebuilt perl with +ithreads 7.9.2 would start (and it works
fine); 7.9.1 still fails but doesn't matter
