Ian,
I'm a bit confused as to the sequence of your emailwhen you posted
the diagnostic output, the output device was clearly there.
hw:CARD=IQaudIOCODEC,DEV=0
You should be able to use that in the squeezelite output setting, and it
should be fine.If you expand the more by the output

If the card has an eeprom on it, it will load the overlay automatically.
IQaudio is sending a sample out to me to get it figured out.
The device is connecting fine. And squeezelite is starting fine.
Perhaps you are just clicking things too fast.
When a player connects to LMS, it will take a bit to show up in the LMS
web interface..although the player is still connected and available.

Seems the OP 2 uses different wifi drivers than the Joggler.
I've got Roobarb's bionic 5.4 working with wifi.
It seems the wifi drivers are only available with kernels after 4.
So, and it's a big ask I know, would it be possible to provide JfJ with
the later bionic

Doh!
Yeah spot on Paul, thanks for the help and quick response.
Thought I'd

So I did a little more digging. The Flexfb driver does not support
Device Tree, so an overlay would never work. The flexfb was an
unfinished attempt to make a universal fb driver. Here is an interesting
read.
Hi all
This is my bootlocal.sh
Code:
#!/bin/sh
# put other system startup commands here
GREEN="$(echo -e '\033[1;32m')"
echo
echo "${GREEN}Running bootlocal.sh..."
#pCPstart--
/home/tc/www/cgi-bin/pcp_startup.sh 2>&1 | tee -a
Of course bootlocal.sh is called. Thats what starts pCP. And it
already runs with root permission.
Drop the sudo statements.

Shart,
If you can work with a stationary controller, take a look at 'rasptouch'
.
I needed something that looked good enough to allow my hobby to enter
I tried first hdmi_safe=1, it was working but with low res display and
CEC start of my amplifier an TV on boot.
Next try was better, hdmi_force_hotplug=1 is the only parameter needed
to my problem : -Setting hdmi_force_hotplug to 1 pretends that the HDMI
hotplug signal is asserted, so it

The updated OP2 wifi drivers are only avalable from kernel 4.19 onwards,

AFAIR we could see the system date and time on the status line of the
pCP main page in earlier releases.
This helped me to identify whether the current date/time on the pi was
correct without the need of accessing the log files.
This isn't the case after power outages because the pi is up an
piCorePlayer on the Pirate Audio-zero has been running nonstop and

interest.

Thanks!

There are settings in config.txt that you can use to force HDMI to be
on.
See https://www.picoreplayer.org/how_to_edit_config_txt.shtml for how to
edit it
If you search for "hdmi" you will find a few different fields that you
can adjust and there are comments in there to help.
