Yes, unfortunately I wasn't very clear about the implementation. The reference model that I prefer, Everything, is probably not available for most users (http://trac.enlightenment.org/e/wiki/Gadgets/Everything) as it's not been released yet and is only available from SVN for linux users. Gnome-Do

I cannot update the pdfimport extention from the link you gave me. I have downloaded the extention for linux x86, open it and a message box appear saying that the extention does not work in this computer. Here is the screenshot of the pdf showing in LibreOffice:
