Hi Dan  :) OpenJDK is also owned by Oracle but that might be mitigated by having a community involved.  I'm not sure if normal java has a community too.  Ubuntu 10.04LTS has java 6_20 by default at the moment.  Perhaps you also have one of the good (at least for LO) versions such as 6_21 or 6_22
