I would like to run LO on my server and access this LO from a client via
b@client: ssh -X a@server libreoffice file.odt
File.odt sits at the server.
This runs indeed libreoffice writer on the server, however the display shows up
at the server screen.
So I tried
b@client:
Wkipedia english does not mention libre/openoffice in "Mail merge" at all, the
german Version at least openoffice for "Serienbrief". Could someone more apt
than I make an addendum?

replacing text with respect to a lot of properties is easy in LO.
However the replace function does not offer to find and replace hidden
formated strings.
Has anybody an idea, why this is impossible?

that cell is deleted, such that no content can be added in that cell.
Usually, shortly afterwards writer

In your case, deleting content in **any** cell should not delete
the paragraph within the cell. It sounds like deleting the contents
deletes all reference to the cell in the XML. It may seem that it is
there, but it is not.

to me, its a very useful to tool and helped a lot, to learn how macros work.
In some cases its the only chance to get something work by use of the

has to search the item to be replaced by mouse or repeated key strokes.
It would be easier, to type the name or shortcut and have the item to be
