its looks like vdsm complain that the image is not exists.
can you run the VM with no errors? (if the VM have more then one disk make
sure that its exists and accessible).
if all good please attach the full vdsm and engine log.

Hi,
There is a wiki page for importing VMs from other hypervisors here:
https://www.ovirt.org/develop/release-management/features/virt/virt-v2v-integration/
and specific for KVM from Libvirt the wiki page is in progress but you can

The best and easiest way is via the Import dialog as you saw in
'virt-v2v-integration' wiki page.
another way to do it and only for VMware (not KVM-Libvirt) is via the
virt-v2v utility with the option '-o rhev' which export the VM to oVirt
export domain and then you can import the VM to a data

They must have written it - as we did,
OVA is representation of current hypervisor virtual machine, it contains
OVF which is xml representation of the VM and binary disk files, the files
are the format of the specific hypervisor (Xen, VMWare or KVM).
We currently convert from VMWare and Xen on

Importing OVA to ovirt currently works only from VMWara OVA,
use VMs-Import-Import OVA
make sure that the OVA permissions are vdsm:kvm (36:36),
as for exporting to OVA its in progress.

Detach data-domain or using export domain is a good solution,
another one is to use "import" button from the VMs tab and use "Kvm (via
Libvirt)" as the source.
you will need to open Libvirt ports as described here:

Kun, you know that you can import ova directly instead of using virt-v2v to
export domain and then import to data domain,
you can do that from the VMs tab->Import-> and change the source to OVA.

What is the type of the target storage domain that you try to import
to?(nfs or iscsi)
if its iscsi try to change it to preallocate instead of thin-provision,
also please attach the engine log if you have more problems.

When you run the VM with cloud-init you get a cdrom with the cloud-init

Try to mount the cdrom something like:
$ mount /dev/sr1 mydir
and look at the content of the network file at:
$ cat mydir/openstack/content/
