I'm trying to get auto loged in Windows 7 (try on 64 and 32 bits) vm from the
user portal.
My VM have ovirt-agent installed and working, I also build the credential
provider from the ovirt-agent git, put the dll in system32 and registred it.
I know the agent is working

I am installing oVirt in a closed environment where internet access is
controlled by proxies.
This works until the hosted engine install via cockpit where it fails to
complete as it appears to require internet access to the repository.

During the ova import process, preallocated disk policy is selected and the VM
is imported successfully.
Unfortunately the disks remain as Thin Provisioned - is this a known bug and is

Hi Strahil,
Clicked edit on the VMs disk and then entered the required size to extend the
disk in "Extend size by (GiB)" window.
The UI showed the correct size of the disk but lsblk on the Guest failed to
show any changes.

On CentOS 8 - 4.4.5
I removed a geo-replication session from a volume from the command line but
ovirt manager 'volume' is still showing the geo-replication session.
I cannot remove this session as it says it doesn't exist (which is correct).
Geo Rep session deletion failed: rc=30800 out=()
I removed the slave volumes and recreated them - manually removing entries in
/etc/fstab that weren't removed.
Recreated geo-rep session and all data replicated to other oVirt Datacenter.
One issue with one of the Master nodes reporting it's status as Faulty - so not
completely resolved but the

lsblk just showed /dev/sdb as a disk.
Commenting out ‘use_devices_file=1’ in lvm.conf and then ran ‘vdsm-tool
config-lvm-filter’ which said /dev/sdb part of multipath.
Added ‘wwid “*”’ to the blacklist section of multipath.conf and node booted
properly.

I've been asked to test the HE restore process but after taking a look at the
documentation I'm afraid I'm none the wiser.
I thought there would be a simple 'restore in situ' option but it appears not.

In the Admin WebUI go to the following:
'Compute' - 'Clusters'
Click on the cluster containing the Host.
'Logical Networks'
Then click on 'Manage Networks'
If I recall correctly I had the same issue a few years ago and unchecked
'Require All' for the Network in question.
Please let me know if this is likely to be a quick fix - if not I'll have to
manually created additional volumes.

New install (4.5.2) and back to square one - install fails. Now the ovirtmgmt
interface isn't created but vnet0 is - no idea what the cause is as there's
nothing in the setup logs.
