Fortunately sharing these calendars for autheticated users works again so i shared these calendars for all authenticated users meanwhile. Looking at the git commits i guess some change in sope caused that different behaviour. I have abit of spare time to add a few debugging lines to the source and try to detect where it went wrong but i'd be glad for an pointer into the right direction. achim~ Getting lost in the source code here. I can not find the place where the ACL's for LDAP Groups get resolved. To specify my issue abit more. I created an user to share a few google calendars for users here. I can add the ACL for my LDAP Groups via Thunderbird and SOGo-Web, edit them and they get still stored proper in the mysql db. I did the configuration with 2.0.3a and at that time the calendars showed up for all members of the assigned LDAP Group. For some reason this is no longer the case with 2.0.4b, i'm unsure if i tested it with 2.0.4a. And now even if i downggrade to 2.0.3a the calendars do not appear and can neighter be manually subscribed. The sogo logs are not helpfull and debugging samba4 LDAP queries is abit painfull so i thought it's easier to add a bit more verbosity to logging output in the source if i could only find an good point to start. I do not know if it can be 'ghosted,' but I do not doubt that it could. It appears to me that converting the ZEG to an ISO is an ideal way to use it as a bootable DVD or as an alternative to installing it natively instead of keeping with the virtual machine concept. It would have been better for me if the ZEG had been as an ISO to begin with because VMWare could still be used if you wanted. The remastersys seems to make a usable ISO but the web interface on port 2 throws an unhandled error when I log in with sogo1/sogo on the Live boot. You guys are gonna love me for this. :) It's a little something I picked up and built upon when I first started doing P2V and V2P transitions for my first Ubuntu server. Purely over the network SOGo Appliance - You will need: An unbuntu 'desktop' ISO, as well as a physically burned disc. Virtualbox on some pc, a new target physical machine (doesn't matter what's on it, but it's contents will be replaced.) 1) Import the SOGo ZEG appliance into virtualbox 2) Change the cd-rom image loaded into that appliance vm - the Ubuntu desktop cd 3) fire it up and let it boot to the live desktop 4) fire up the target machine using the Ubuntu live desktop cd (bridged networking enabled) 5) On the VM, type the following into the command line: sudo su apt-get install pv dd if=/dev/hda | pv |gzip -9 | nc -l -p 6) On the target pc's console (in the Ubuntu desktop live environment, replace the /dev/hda with your target hard drive. In my case I only had 1 hd on my target test physical box) sudo su apt-get install pv nc 192.168.0.1 | gunzip -d | pv | dd of=/dev/had note: the replace the ip above with the ip of the vm.and /dev/hda with your target drive 7) Open up gparted (you might have to reboot), resize the partition to full disk size and you're done the new pc. :) Only one wasted disc, progress visible. Re: [SOGo] Funambol Sync with Phone and Multiple Address Books
I suppose the general Idea for android would be using the DAV protocols through the apps that are mentioned on the homepage. Sad they are neither free nor declared final/stable, but on a test phone everything seems to work fine (at least one-way). DAV works fine for Android and iOS so far and each addressbook/calendar has it's own entity on the phone. Sadly the dmfs.org calday-app does not yet support tasks, as android has no buildin task interface Sincerely, Hagen Am 16.02.2013 11:08, schrieb CF Studelec: Bump, i'm stuck in the same issue. Funambol seems to only sync the Personal address book of each user. Am I missing some configuration options or is this the expected behavior? This is a restriction on the client side. But there is a workaround. In the properties of a calendar you can activate the option Synchronize and give this calendar a synchronization name called Tag. When you now synchronize via Funambol, it will merge all events from such activated calendars into one virtual calendar. This virtual calendar will then be synchronized to your device. Each event will be preseeded with the given tag for its calendar. Therefore they can be synched back based on this tag. Hope this helps a bit.
