I saved it successfully to doc format with LO 4.0.0.3 using Linux Mint
13. LO was downloaded from the website; I do not believe it is available
in the repositories yet.
I did notice Chinese? characters. I used the default install settings.

I confirm it does not open with LO 4.0.1.2 (Linux Mint Maya 64). Also,
Calligra Sheets had problems. And it opened (I think correctly) with
Gnumeric - the version from the Ubuntu Precise repository.

values/results stored in the spreadsheet and does not try to update
them. Occasionally I receive a spreadsheet from a client with links.
To link to the other spreadsheets or data sources, they must be located

performance and it is relatively cheap and easy to do. It does not
matter which OS or CPU
