Hi, Sandro
Thanks for replying~ I download the virt-v2v and test it . But it
directly wirte others' OVF file to RHEV , so the engine-image-uploader is not
useful.
How can I use virt-v2v to convert others' OVF to oVirt's OVF without writing it
to Export Domain?

Hi,
I finally found a workaround using one more time engine-cleanup, without
deleting the engine database and it passed.
I still have a problem, and I’d like to reinstall a new oVirt Manager, and I

Hi
I want to reinstall a new clean oVirt Manager, and I have a question :
If I install a new manager, do I recover the datacenter and all the Vms
installed in it without any lost of data ?
What is the best practice to do this safely ?
Thank you for your help

Received the "heartbeat exeeded" continuously this morning (seems to be quiet

VM's still continue to work correctly and the storage domains (NFS shares) are
still connected and reachable on the nodes, at the exact time that this issue
is happening.

Unfortunately log entries that you copied give me almost no
information about nature of your issue.
There are few things that we can do to understand what is going on
with your setup.
Heartbeat functionality provides means to detect whether we still have
connection with a host. By default

To the best of my knowledge, it was never reported, and certainly was
never fixed.
At the moment, I'm not yet sure that there's something to fix in oVirt:

Hi Koen,
I believe you can use this query:
SELECT v3_5_latest_configuration_hosts_interfaces.vlan_id,
v3_5_latest_configuration_hosts.host_id,
v3_5_statistics_vms_resources_usage_samples.vm_id
FROM v3_5_latest_configuration_hosts_interfaces
LEFT JOIN v3_5_latest_configuration_hosts ON
I plan to reinstall on a cloned VM from the original one, I have cleaned the
previous version, and made an engine-setup.
So I have backups from the previous Manager, I can backup to the new one.
But, reading the overt-engine-backup, it seems to be possible only before doing
engine-setup.
Is that
Hi Dan,
I have 15 ovirt hosts running vdsm, and no problem with el6 ones.
However, all of my el7 hosts (freshly installed because provided with no
OS) meet this issue.
I don't need ipv6 for the moment (maybe in 10 years :)), so the best way
is to deactivate it.
As I said, the issue seems to co

I can't touch production for now, but I will install some more hosts in
the next days, I will pay a particular attention when doing it.

Hi,
back in december there was a discussion about Ovirt on Fedora 21. From
my point of view that was about ovirt engine. So I'm somehow lost if
Fedora 21 is at least supported as hypervisor host. Anyone with deeper
knowledge?

HI Piotr,
Thanks for your reply!
If I would like to change the heartbeat value, do I have to update the value
within the vdc_options table directly, or should this be done by another way
(e.g. config file)?

Hello guys
I installed ovirt using hosted-engine procedure with six fisical hosts,

I decided to use some of my hosts for other tasks, so have been removed

Someone knows any idea how to get the vm autostart at boot,

Hi,
can someone from R&D please check the below issue/rca.
ManageIQ tries by performing a Smart State Analys to access a ovf File on
Ovirt 3.5.x for a VM.
I think oVirt changed in 3.5 their behavior by introducing the Disk for
"OVF_STORE", so maybe our below issue is related to it..

I wait a day with the computer on and at any time, they haven't been
