What's the best graphics card for simple solid 2d graphics w/ two
monitors. I'll be browsing the web and editing, not playing 3d shooter
games. Looking for open source drivers and compatibility w/ RandR/etc.

ATI Radeon seems
Not sure what one might be best, but I can say I've had great luck
running dual monitors with an NVIDIA GForce 7950 GT on my system under
Fedora 14 with the NVIDIA native drivers.
Be careful about power requirements though. The power supply
requirements for this board are a lot more than the

proprietary, but they've always worked well for me. I'm switching back
to NVIDIA at this very moment.
