Hi Thiago,
I think you need the zlib package (also zlib-dev). That might solve
your problem

Hi Yee,
It could be possible if you develop your own PAM module to go and
authenticate against the active directory. Everything depends directly
upom how open is the active directory authentication protocol. But I
don't see it impossible.
Good Luck !

Hi Krista,
I had this issue time ago, and I don't really know how it was fixed, I
think the problem disappeared all of a sudden. Now, when I was looking
for a solution to this problem I found a program called ELIMINATE DUPS
at www.qmail.org It might help you.
Best regards,

Hi Matt,
If you install qmail, then vpopmail you just have to set up your
qmail-pop3d with vchkpw.
You can find all information about vpopmail installation in the README
INSTALL files.
To set up you qmail-pop3d, in the qmail man pages or if you want to use
IMAP POP3 at the same time
Hi,
I read about this in the archive time ago, since I had this problem
before. The problem is when you compile courier-imap. It seems
courier-imap does not recognize automatically the roaming users option
from vpopmail I don't remember what option or file you have to edit in
courier-imap.
This is an old e-mail i found Perhaps it will help

Hi Eduardo,
Try using the utilities provided by vpopmail Inside the
/home/vpopmail/bin directory you'll find a command vadddomain and also
a vadduser. That's what you must use in order to have virtual domains.
If you need help in spanish, just tell me.
Good Luck
El mar,
Hi Kanzie ,
In order to authenticate on a virtual domain basis, you muse provide
the username including the domain, as:
USER [EMAIL PROTECTED]
PASS *
This is, because since you can have multiple domains using only one IP
address the user must specify which domain does he belong.
Ari,
The SQL md5 function won't work for these passwords... it seems that
vpopmail uses another md5 like algorithm.
So the encripted password will always be different between MySQL and
vpopmail.

HI Hadad,
Al long as I know, you should not place a default_quota statement
inside .qmailadmim-limits.
You must even compile with --enable-defaultquota=xMB of create the
domain/user account setting the quota from the beginning.

Zeno,
I am also a Debian user, and I'd recommend you to compile a fresh copy
of vpopmail since debian packages won't give you any freedom to
pre-configure options on your system. Also if vpopmail version is too
old, try the unstable distribution.

Zak,
Move also the rcpthosts (and morercpthosts file), virtualdomains and
any other /var/qmail/control file which has information about your
virtual domains.

I posted a message a few weeks ago about the maildirsize patch by Bill

There are some cases when the quota is changed, the maildirsize file
is not rebuild, just deleted. This causes sqwebmail to not see a
quota usage until email is delivered to the account, or they pop in.
