Is this card still being manufactured, considering that Micronas USA
closed down and the Decypher has been EOL'd ?
If Micronas USA was closed down, is it means that other mpeg2/h.264
decoder-chips from Micronas are not producing currently ?

The card is not a standalone product, but the video output for the Reelbox
Avantgarde. As long as this box is being manufactured, the card is also
produced. And the Avantgarde is sold quite successfully...

It looks promising, I'm myself looking for H.264 HDTV decoding capable
micro-ATX motherboard and wondering if there are alternatives for
Nvidia's working but closed binary stuff where e.g. HDMI audio support
won't be

Hi,
i use dvbcut to cut my recordings. After cutting i can rename the
resulting mpg file to 001.vdr, delete the index file and run genindex
and then i have a perfect cutted recording. This works well for all
recordings that are smaller than 2GB. If the file is 2GB, i tried to
concat the 001.vdr
Great!
several questions.
Which CPU and TV do you have ? Which CPU's load do you have ?
What's name you motherboard ?
How much RAM do you have ?
Are you watching the hdtv dvb-s2 channels by hdmi video-output, what about
playing of hdtv files ?
Igor
I know, I'm already running vdr on it. So
Hi,
You can simply select a smaller filesize in vdr's
for new recordings?!
MaxVideoFileSize in vdr.conf.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer, but i need larger files, not smaller files. I'd
like to have every recording each in one file, even if the file would be
10GB or larger.

I have installed 1.5.17 (i think) of vdr (from the experimental apt
repository) however I can't get xineliboutput compiled as it's
complaining that it can't find a valid libxine. It looks like the
dependencies are quite specific in what they want.
Hi,
Just tackled with this one
