I've recently decided to try xineliboutput over my usual choice of xine
plugin.
So far I've pretty happy with it but can't for the life of me get the
lirc forwarding to work.
Lirc is installed, the controller is setup and tested to work (it's an
mceusb2).
Vdr is compiled with lirc
Well now I'm just not sure,
the shop was out of stock so I didn't get one in the end but some people
seem to be having real issues with this card.
Maybe I'll stick with my single tuner for a bit longer.
Be nice if they'd do linux support for the Terratec 2400i dt, then I'd
actually have use

Hi,
This seems like a pretty dumb question but I hadn't seen it mentioned
before and just wanted to check.
I'm looking to buy a dual tuner card, most likely the WinTV Nova-T 500.
My question is, as long as the card is supported in Linux will vdr treat
it as two dvb-t devices?

with the launch of Freeview Playback in the UK, I was wondering if
anyone here knew how the series links were sent to the dvb box.
Freeview Playback is a system by which series link information is sent
to the dvb box, allowing someone to select to record a whole series.
